A must-hit by progressive is a type of progessive that must pay the user once the number climbs to a specified number. This number must and will be labeled on the machine, either in the top area where the progressive number is accumulating or in the game rules for older games. Out of all the different types of progressives, must hit or must win by progressives are the ONLY ones that you can possibly have some advantage play on. If you noticed a bank of must hit by progressive machines, it’s very advantageous for you to pick the machine that is closest to the must hit by number. Unlike normal progressives, the closer the progressive amount gets to the must hit by number, the more likely it is that you will hit it.
