Legend of the Phoenix progressive free games ?

I'm having trouble finding an answer for how and when a free game is added to each progressive. One comment I saw in a video said that it adds one to the 2x every 45 spins, one to the 5x every 120 spins and one to the 10x every 500 spins. Can anyone confirm if this is accurate? My local casino has a row of these games, but I would like to know exactly how they work before playing. Thanks in advance!

Those counts are correct for the original version. The counts do not reset if a bonus hits, so if you hit the 2x at spin 40 and the meter resets after the bonus round, 5 more spins will still add 1 free game to the 2x meter.
The numbers are higher for wheel/bonanza variants.

Wow, that's a great confirmation. So if I see someone chasing a free spins bonus that's sitting at 14 for a bit, if they get up, there's a real advantage there.

Yeah, that'd be worth a shot. I probably wouldn't chase a blue/10x though unless you saw them sitting at 14 for a good while already.
